SSU's Corey Chambers Represents Rep. of Ireland!

Scholarship Sports USA's young recruit, Corey Chambers, represented the Republic of Ireland

Schoolboys last week, in the prestigious Centenary Shield. Chambers who has previous experience with the Republic of Ireland Youth squad, joins a long list of goalkeeping greats to have played in this competition including; Gordon Banks & David Seaman, and outfield players who still play today; Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard and Dele Alli.

The Republic of Ireland schoolboys kicked off their Centenary Shield campaign with a 0-0 home draw to rivals Northern Ireland. Chambers delivered a stellar man of the match performance to keep the away team out. A clean sheet for his troubles and a valuable point for the Irish as they look to get a win on their travels vs England, on April 8.
