COMMITTED: Christopher Dempsey

SSUSA are delighted to announce Christopher Dempsey has committed his future to the Shaw University Bears. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Carolina's capital city), are a member school of the NCAA Division 2.

Dempsey, who currently plays for Jones College, in Ellisville, Mississippi in the NJCAA, will move across to North Carolina this fall as he graduates junior college. The striker from Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been in lethal form for the 'Bobcats', scoring the most goals in the State of Mississippi during his freshman year.

Shaw University play in garnet & white, and boast a student body of around 1,500 students. Notable alumni include; Gladys Knight (Singer), Dawn Coughman (NFL Player), & James "Bonecrusher" Smith (First Heavyweight Boxing Champion with a college degree).
