Russia U19 International Govor Ready for 2021

SSUSA are delighted to welcome Russian U19 international Anastasiya Govor to our 2021 class.

Anastasiya, from Moscow, Russia, plays her football for WFC Chertanovo Moscow in the Russian Premier League, and will be heading to the USA on a soccer scholarship later this year (August, 2021).

Govor is a young up-and-coming full back who is equally comfortable playing on the wing. Having made numerous U19 international appearances for her country, Russia, some of her highlights include scoring against Slovenia in a 5-0 win, and defeating Italy 1-0 in the UEFA U19 Championship Qualifying.

Highly regarded within the national team set up, Govor will be hoping she follows in a similar path to current SSUSA athlete, Alina Miagkova, who plays college soccer for Syracuse University and represents the Russian Senior National team.
