Another fantastic Scholarship Sports USA success story as Louis Le Bars from London, England makes the move to the United States to compete in NCAA Division II soccer at Maryville University.
A 6’2” ball-playing centre back, Louis brings strength, composure and excellent distribution from the back — the profile of a modern defender capable of both defending aggressively and building attacks.
Before making the move to the U.S., Louis developed his game in England with Bromley FC, gaining valuable experience in a strong academy environment. His performances also earned him a trial with Queens Park Rangers F.C., highlighting the level of ability and potential he possesses.
Standing at 6’2” and 176 lbs, Louis combines aerial dominance with intelligent positioning and the confidence to play out from the back — qualities that translate perfectly to the collegiate game.
Now heading to Maryville University to compete in NCAA Division II, Louis will continue developing both athletically and academically, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the U.S. college pathway.
Everyone at Scholarship Sports USA is incredibly proud to have supported Louis through the recruitment process, and we look forward to following his journey in the United States.
Congratulations Louis 👏⚽
