Another fantastic Scholarship Sports USA success story as Sienna Leckey from Londonderry, Northern Ireland continues her journey in the United States as a graduate student-athlete.

A technical and energetic midfielder standing at 5’5”, Sienna brings creativity, work rate and intelligence in possession to the collegiate game.

During the 2025 season, Sienna made 14 appearances, logging 396 minutes and contributing two assists, both coming in an impressive attacking display against Truett-McConnell early in the season. She also recorded multiple shots in a strong performance against Kennesaw State, highlighting her attacking impact from midfield.

Before making the move to the U.S., Sienna graduated from Foyle College in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. She is now continuing her education at the graduate level, studying Sport Administration while competing in college soccer.

Football runs in the family as well, with her older sister previously playing collegiate soccer at Marshall University, where she also completed a graduate degree.

Balancing high-level athletics with postgraduate education is no easy feat, and Sienna’s dedication and professionalism have helped her succeed both on the pitch and in the classroom.
